How it works

Why intravenous, and when it is not worth it

Anything you swallow has to survive your stomach and pass through your gut wall, and for several vitamins that means most of the dose never reaches your blood. An infusion skips that entirely — the full dose is in circulation immediately. That is a real advantage for hydration and for high-dose vitamin C, and much less of one for nutrients you absorb perfectly well from food.

Why people use it

What it actually does

Hydration

The least ambiguous use. A liter of fluid with electrolytes, in under an hour, does something no drink can match in that window.

Travel and altitude

Long flights, time zones and dry cabin air. This is the most common reason members book an infusion rather than a session.

Feeling something coming on

High-dose vitamin C and zinc are the standard formulation. Book at the first sign, not on day three.

NAD+

A coenzyme involved in cellular energy metabolism. Infused slowly because the rate matters — expect ninety minutes, not thirty.

Clinical oversight

A licensed practitioner reviews your intake, places the line, and stays on site. This is a medical service, not a spa add-on.

Not for everything

If you eat well and are not traveling, ill, or dehydrated, an infusion is unlikely to do much. We would rather say so than sell you one.

NAD+ therapy

The cornerstone of modern longevity protocols

A guided on-ramp of escalating doses across six weeks. With consistent treatments, deeper benefits emerge: improved clarity and acuity, rapid cellular repair, and a body that looks and feels younger. By week five at 500 mg, your system is primed to sustain peak NAD+ levels for the next 6–12 months.

Questions

Before you book

Anything not covered here, call us — +1 213 686 5600.

Does it hurt?
A brief sting when the cannula goes in, then you stop noticing it. Most people find it easier than a blood draw.
Who administers it?
Licensed clinical staff. They review your intake, place the line, and remain on site for the whole infusion.
How long does it take?
Thirty minutes to an hour for standard drips. NAD+ is infused slowly and takes around ninety minutes.
What does NAD+ feel like?
Some people feel flushing or pressure in the chest if it runs too fast. We slow the rate — tell staff immediately if you feel it.
How often can I have one?
Depends entirely on the formulation and on you. Staff will tell you at your consult; it is not a weekly-by-default service.
Do I need to do anything beforehand?
Eat and drink normally before you come. Arriving fasted or dehydrated makes the line harder to place.
Can I combine it with a session?
Yes, but do the infusion after heat or cold, not before. Tell us when you book so we sequence it correctly.
Who should not book?
If you are pregnant, have kidney disease, a heart condition, or are on medication that interacts with high-dose vitamins, this needs a conversation with your doctor first.
